Section 2.2.3-E-1 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 1. Standards <br /> a. The following uses are permitted as part of the Corner Store Retail <br /> use group: <br /> • Beverage vendors serving coffee, smoothies, juices, and <br /> other non-alcoholic beverages. <br /> • Cafes (food service establishments at which orders are <br /> taken at a counter and which do not provide table service) <br /> • Convenience stores <br /> • Dry cleaning pick-up shops <br /> • Laundromats <br /> • Video rental & sales <br /> • Other similar and compatible uses deemed by the Planning <br /> Manager/Designee to meet the purpose and intent of the Plan. <br /> b. The following special conditions shall apply to uses in the Corner <br /> Store Retail use group: <br /> • Corner Store Retail uses shall be accessed by Storefront or <br /> Storefront with Dining Alcove Private Frontage (see Section <br /> 2.8.4). <br /> • Each individual establishment must have a dedicated entrance <br /> which faces a street or public open space. <br /> • When located within the Downtown General zone, Corner Store <br /> Retail establishments may not exceed 2,500 s.f. in floor area. <br /> ATTY/RES0.2237/AMENDING BOOK II OF THE DTPP <br /> REV:05-10-12 VR <br /> Page 9 of 21 <br />
