. , <br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br /> Exhibit "A" <br /> Scope of Services <br /> Consultant will provide thorough, accurate and professional services both as follows: <br /> T e of Service Fee <br /> (Structural) Structural Plan Review Services including Building Code 50% <br /> structural re ulations <br /> All plan review services provided by the consultant shall include the initial plan review and all <br /> subsequent re-reviews as necessary for building permit issuance. <br /> Permit plans and documentation for Off-Site plan review will be picked up by the consultant <br /> messengers or will be shipped to their main office by Fed Ex using the consultant account <br /> number. All costs for pickup or delivery will be included in plan review fee and no addition <br /> compensation will be provided. <br /> Off-Site plan reviews shall be completed within 10-working days. Written plan review <br /> comments shall be delivered to the City in electronic format within 24-hours of completion of <br /> review. When final review is approved, Consultant shall deliver two final sets of approved <br /> plans with approval stamps and signatures to the city within 24 hours of final review and <br /> approval. <br /> Staff <br /> Consultant shall utilize trained and qualified staff to provide services. Consultant shall not <br /> make staffing changes for without review and approval by the City. <br /> Codes and Standards <br /> Consultant shall ensure that the services are performed in compliance with all local codes and <br /> ordinances, State Codes and Federal Codes and Standards, including the following: <br /> • 2010 California Building Code, Volumes 1 and 2 <br /> • 2010 California Residenfial Codes <br /> • ASCE/SEI, 7-05, Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures <br /> • National Design Specifications for Wood Construction, 2005 Edition <br /> • Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete, ACI 318-08 <br /> • Building Code Requirements for Masonry Structures, ACI 530-05/ASCE 5-05/TMS 402- <br /> 05 <br /> • 2010 California Green Building Code <br /> • 2008 California Energy Code <br /> • 2090 California Plumbing Code <br /> • City adopted codes and ordinances, including project Conditions of Approval from other <br /> City departments, divisions, regulafing agencies, and jurisdicfions <br />
