EXHIBIT"A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br /> Scope of Services <br /> Consultant will provide thorough, accurate and professional services as follows: <br /> T pe of Service Fee <br /> (Structural) Structural Plan Review Services including Building Code 50% of Plan <br /> structural re ulations Review fee <br /> (Combo) Combination Building Plan Review Services (Combo), including 75%of Plan <br /> Building Code Structural & Non-Structural, Green Building Code, Energy Review fee <br /> Code, Plumbin Code, Mechanical Code, Electrical Code and Fire Code <br /> (Hourly Combo) Combo Review of Preliminary Plans, Project Revisions or $125.00 per <br /> Peer Review of Pro'ects as Directed Hour <br /> All % of Plan Review services provided by the consultanf shall include the initial plan review and <br /> all subsequent re-reviews as necessary for building permit issuance. <br /> Permit plans and documentation for Off-Site plan review will be picked up by the consultant <br /> messengers or will be shipped to their main office by Fed Ex using the consultant account <br /> number. All costs for pickup or delivery will be included in plan review fee and no addition <br /> compensation will be provided. <br /> Off-Site plan reviews shall be completed within 10-working days. Written plan review comments <br /> shall be delivered to the City in electronic format within 24-hours of completion of review. When <br /> final review is approved, Consultant shall deliver two final sets of approved plans with approval <br /> stamps and signatures to the city within 24 hours of final review and approval. <br /> Staff <br /> Consultant shall utilize trained and qualified staff to provide services. Consultant shall not make <br /> staffing changes without review and approval bythe City. <br /> Codes and Standards <br /> Consultant shall ensure that the services are performed in compliance with all local codes and <br /> ordinances, State Codes and Federal Codes and Standards, including the following: <br /> • 2010 California Building Code, Volumes 1 and 2 <br /> • 2010 California Residenfial Codes <br /> • ASCE/SEI, 7-05, Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures <br /> • National Design Specifications for Wood Construction, 2005 Edition <br /> • Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete, ACI 318-08 <br /> • Building Code Requirements for Masonry Structures, ACI 530-05/ASCE 5-05/TMS 402-05 <br /> • 2010 California Green Building Code <br /> • 2008 Califomia Energy Code <br /> • 2010 Califomia Plumbing Code <br /> • 2010 California Mechanical Code <br /> • 2010 California Electrical Code <br /> • City adopted codes and ordinanaes, including project Conditions of Approval from other <br /> City departments, divisions, regulating agencies, and jurisdictions <br />
