EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Information Technology: <br /> • Maintain the existing software code that comprises the SBSA financial system, including <br /> but not limited to: <br /> o Correct any identified "bugs" in financial software <br /> o Verity the integrity of all financial systems <br /> o Verity that edits and controls will minimize user errors and complications <br /> o Assist with the payroll calendar year end <br /> o Assist with keeping financials files balanced <br /> o Assist with the fiscal year closing effort <br /> o Assist with providing financial data to state and federal agencies <br /> o Assist with the installation of new printers, special equipment <br /> o Assist with user login or connection problems <br /> • Develop new functionality in the financial system as requested by SBSA in an agreed <br /> upon time frame, including but not limited to modifying payroll system due to <br /> Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) changes <br /> • Develop any other applications Redwood City has the skills to develop as requested by <br /> SBSA in an agreed upon time frame. <br /> • Be available for in person, telephone, and email communications with SBSA during <br /> normal business hours. <br /> • Provide support for Virtual Private Network (VPN) access over the Internet. <br /> Computer Technology: <br /> • Host SBSA financial system running on a Rocket Software's Universe database system. <br /> • Maintain SBSA financial system with all relevant updates and patches. <br /> • Maintain a tape backup of SBSA data for possible restoration should the need arise. <br /> • Include SBSA in any disaster recovery solution that includes Redwood City's financial <br /> system. <br /> • To the best of Redwood City's ability assure availability of SBSA financial system 24 <br /> hours a day, 365 days a year. <br /> • Grant remote access to SBSA system to all authorized SBSA staff. <br /> • Adequately notify SBSA of any planned down time due to system maintenance or <br /> problems. The amount of time will be dependent upon the nature of the down time. For <br /> planned down time due to maintenance Redwood City will notify SBSA staff a week in <br /> advance. For other down time Redwood City will notify SBSA as soon as a problem is <br /> detected. <br /> • Assist with getting or maintaining any software licenses required to provide the financial <br /> system to SBSA. Examples of licensing that could be required to be purchased by SBSA <br /> are the Microsoft Windows operating system and the Rocket Software's Universe <br /> database management system. <br /> • The cost of obtaining any required licenses specifically required for SBSA's use will be <br /> paid for by SBSA. <br /> Controller Services: <br /> • The Controller or his or her designee shall attend the monthly meetings of the SBSA <br /> Commission. <br /> ATTY/AGR/2012.Oxx 7 <br /> SBSA Finance and IT Services <br />
