Dates and Times: The parade, festival, fun run, and car show shall be <br /> conducted on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. The parade staging area, line-up <br /> area and route shall be reserved between 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. The start time <br /> of the "Fun Run" will be 8:45 am and the parade will begin at 10:00 am. The <br /> car show area shall be reserved from 5:00 am until 5:00 pm and will run from <br /> 8:00 am until approximately 4:30 pm. Court House Square will be reserved <br /> for live musical entertainment from 11:30 am until 5:00 pm. Various bands <br /> will perform in Court House Square from 12:30 pm until 4:00 pm. <br /> The festival closure shall begin at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, July 3, 2011 and <br /> continue through 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 4, 2011 . This event shall be <br /> conducted from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, July 4th. <br /> 6. Insurance: Permittee shall provide the City commercial general liability <br /> insurance coverage for any and all activities permitted hereunder from an <br /> insurance carrier admitted and authorized to do business in the State of <br /> California with a current Best's Key Rating of not less than "A-:V." <br /> Coverage shall be in the amount of $3,000,000 per occurrence and <br /> $4,000,000 aggregate, naming the City and its Council, the <br /> Redevelopment Agency of Redwood City, and their boards, officers, <br /> commissions, committees, employees, volunteers, and agents <br /> (collectively, the "City-insureds") as insureds or additional insureds. If the <br /> City-insureds are covered as additional insureds, the Permittee shall <br /> provide endorsements to the policy which shall provide that: (i) said <br /> insurance shall be primary and noncontributory insurance with respect to <br /> the City-insureds, (ii) apply separately to each insured against whom claim <br /> is made or suit is brought, except with respect to the limits of the insured's <br /> liability (cross liability endorsement), and (iii) name the City-insureds as <br /> additional insureds. If Permittee has employees who will participate in the <br /> event as employees rather than volunteers, Permittee shall carry workers' <br /> compensation insurance at the statutory minimum, providing a waiver of <br /> subrogation with respect to the City and the Redevelopment Agency. <br /> Permittee shall furnish evidence of such insurance coverage in a form <br /> satisfactory to the City at least ten (10) days prior to commencement of <br /> the event. <br /> 7. Damaqe to Public Propertv: Permittee shall reimburse the City for the <br /> costs of any damages to City-owned property in the vicinity of the designated <br /> areas, caused by or arising out of the conducting of the event permitted <br /> hereunder, or the acts or omissions to act of persons participating in said <br /> event.
