6.1.G. - Page 16 Attachment #1 <br /> including the public right-of-way in connection with said event, shall be <br /> removed immediately following said event. <br /> 8. Compliance With Laws: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and <br /> applicable rules, regulations, and laws in connection with the conducting of <br /> said event or any and all activities associated therewith. This permit shall be <br /> in addition to all other permits that are or may be required for conducting this <br /> event, or any associated activity. Specifically, Permittee or any other <br /> individual event participant shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary <br /> State Alcohol and Beverage Control permits and San Mateo County Health <br /> perm its. <br /> 9. Hold Harmless: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify and <br /> save harmless the City, its City Council, officers, boards, commissions, <br /> employees, volunteers, and agents from all suits, actions, damages, or <br /> claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature whatsoever, <br /> resulting from or arising out of the performance or failure to perform of <br /> Permittee hereunder, or otherwise arising from or arising out of said event or <br /> any activities herein permitted. <br /> 10. Citv Services: Except as otherwise noted, the City agrees to provide those <br /> services requested in the letter dated April 10, 2012, in furtherance of the <br /> activities herein permitted. <br /> Specifically, the City agrees to provide the following services: <br /> Public Works: <br /> (a) Provide two street sweepers at approximately 10:00 am to pick up <br /> horse droppings along the parade route and the designated horse <br /> lineup areas. Street sweeping is also requested for the festival area at <br /> approximately 7:00 pm after the festival has closed on July 4th. Street <br /> sweeping in the festival area will be delayed until 7:00 pm to allow <br /> vendors to complete their breakdown and leave the area. <br /> (b) Provide traffic cones and street barricades for the fun run, parade, <br /> festival, car show, and other traffic diversion requirements as <br /> determined by the Police Department. Delivery time, location, quantity <br /> and type of PCA requested barricades for the July 4t" events shall be <br /> listed in an appendix to be provided. <br /> (c) Install American flags along the parade route immediately prior to the <br /> parade. On July 4th, the flags are to be removed immediately following <br /> the parade to reduce the possibility of theft. <br /> (d) Access to electrical outlets in and around Courthouse Square for public <br /> announcement and entertainer use.
