EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE The_Citv of Redwood Citv (the Citv) is currentiv in the process of qreparinq an EIR for the California Water Tank and Pump Station Proiect. The Citv is studvina an alternative location within the qroposed site called the Hillside Alternative to build the water tank and pump station. This requires additional geotechnical exploration in the location of the Hillside Alternative and seismic modeling, the development of a conceptual site plan and engineering design information, the preparation of visual simulations, and additional tree survey work. This design information will then be incorporated into the Draft EIR. Environmental and Planninq Work—Task 1, 2 and 3 Consultant will coordinate team tasks needed to define the Hillside Alternative, record tree locations with a GPS unit, and add the new alternative to the EIR: Define Hillside Alternative: Consultant has participated in team conference calls, drafted a number of emails and participated in a site visit to support the definition of the Hillside Alternative. Additional team coordination will occur as the design team addresses geotechnical constraints and finalizes the proposed location of the water tank. This task also include three hours for Consultant field staff to GPS tree locations and pcovide data file to other consultant team member. Add Alternative to EIR: Consultant will incorporate the Hillside Alternative analysis throughout the EIR. It will be given the same level of analysis and graphic documentation as the other alternatives. The primary discussion will be presented in the Alternatives Chapter but all chapters will be revised as appropriate to reflect the new alternative. Landscapina and Visual Simulation Work is included and covered in this task- Consultant will provide an arborist report on the tree removal associated with the Hillside Alternative and prepare new visual simulations of this alternative. Visual Simulation: Consultant will develop a visual simulation of the Hillside Alternative comparable to the existing simulations. The photos used in the existing simulations will adequately show the Hillside Alternative; no new photos are needed for this new simulation. Consultant will submit a draft of the simulation for review and revise it per input received. The visual simulations are created using the locations and vegetation types proposed in the conceptual landscaping plan. Because the Hilliside Alternative is partially outside the area covered in the existing Conceptual Landscape Plan prepared for the proposed project, Consultant will need to prepare a conceptual landscape plan covering the additional area that will be impacted by the Hillside Alternative. The conceptual landscape plan for the Hillside Alternative will be based on the existing conceptual landscape plan.
