i <br /> fl�lGlN�l <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> AGREEMENT FOR THE ADJIJSTMENT OF WATER VALVE BOXES,BLOW-OFF <br /> VALVE AND CATHODIC PROTECTION BOXES IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE <br /> RESURFACING OF VARIOUS STREETS IN COLMA,EMERALD LAKE HILLS AND <br /> NORTH FAIR OAKS AREAS <br /> [PROJECT NO.RL404] <br /> THIS AGREEMENT,made and entered into this �Z�`� day <br /> of (v w� , 2012, by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, a political <br /> subdivision of the State of California, hereinafter called "County", and the CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY,a municipal corporation of the State of California,hereinafter called"City". <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS,the County is resurfacing various streets in the Colma, Emerald Lake Hills, <br /> and North Fair Oaks Areas; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is estimated that eight (8) City-owned water valve boxes, three (3) City- <br /> owned blow-off valve boxes and two (2) City-owned Cathodic Protection box will require <br /> adjustment to the new grade of the improved roads (See E�ibit "A" — (2) Project Location <br /> Maps, (5) Utility and Pavement Repair Locations Maps and (2) City of Redwood City Standard <br /> Details;and <br /> WHEREAS,City has requested for the County to include, in its resurfacing contract,the <br /> adjustment of said City-owned water valve, blow-off valve and cathodic protection boxes to the <br /> new grade of the improved roads. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. County will include in its contract, for the above-described project, contract items <br /> for the adjustment of City-owned water valve, blow-off valve and cathodic protection boxes to <br /> the new grade of the improved roads.
