I <br />�� <br />On June 23, 2003, City Council authorized the County to impose charges on parcels o real" <br />property in Redwood City necessary to fund Redwood City's $133,401 share the <br />Countywide NPDES General Program costs in Fiscal Year 2003 -2004. Separate and apart <br />from funding the Program, the RWQCB imposed an individual permit fee on all co- <br />permittees (20 cities and the County) for the Countywide NPDES permit. The fee is based <br />on population size and for cities the size of Redwood City (populations of 75,000 to 99,000) <br />the fee is $12,500 plus an 18.5% surcharge or $14,813.00. Funds to cover the City's <br />permit fee have been aporopriated by the City Council in the Public Works Services <br />Department operating budget for FY 2003 -2004. <br />Marilyn W'.
