07/09/2012 <br />on May 24, 2012, and <br />WHEREAS, the TA requires a governing board resolution from the City in support of the <br />City's application for $8,910,000 in San Mateo County Measure A Highway Program funds for <br />the PROJECT, and <br />WHEREAS, TA requires a governing board resolution from the City committing the City <br />to the completion of the PROJECT. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />RESOLVED that the City is authorized to submit an application for San Mateo County <br />Measure A Highway funds for $8,910,000 for the PROJECT; and be it further <br />RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes and directs its City Manager or designee to <br />execute and file an application with the San Mateo County Transportation Authority to encumber <br />any Measure A Highway Program funds awarded; and be it further <br />RESOLVED that the City commits to the completion of the PROJECT if awarded the <br />requested San Mateo County Measure A Highway Program funds. <br />ATTY/RESO.2259/SURFACE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM US 101 WOODSIDE RD (STATE ROUTE 84) RESO. # 15207 <br />REV:06-19-12 VR MUFF # 701 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
