It will sometimes be subjected to <br /> severe operating conditions and equipment failures could conceivably result in loss of life or <br /> injury to firefighters or others. For this reason, the boat must pass these acceptance tests <br /> before being accepted for service by the Redwood City Fire Department. All acceptance tests <br /> shall be accomplished with a full load of fuel, equipment and crew(four personnel), because <br /> this boat will normally respond to emergencies with this loading. The Redwood City Fire <br /> Department shall witness all tests. The contractor shall provide at least twenty one (21) <br /> working day's notice before performing tests. <br /> 3.15.2 The contractor shall provide access for inspection by the Redwood City Fire <br /> Department prior to closure of void spaces. <br /> 3.15.3 Deck Trial Acceptance Test- Before sea trials are run, a test of all machinery and <br /> electronic equipment shall be made at the dock. The engines shall be run at 1500 rpm for at <br /> 17 <br />
