Adequate maintenance is herein <br /> defined as maintaining the described facilities in good working candition so that these <br /> facilities continue to operate as originally designed and approved. The ma9ntenance <br /> plan shall include a detailed description af and schedule for long-term mainfenance <br /> ,activities. <br /> 4. Sediment Manaaement. Sediment accumulation resulting from the normal <br /> operation of the stormwater treatment measure(s) relating to the Property will be managed <br /> apprapriately by the Property Owner. The Property Owner will provide for the removal and <br /> disposal of accumulated sediments relating to the Properfy. Disposal of accumulated <br /> sediments shall not accur on #he Property, unless in compliance with all applicabfe laws. <br /> Any dispasal or removal of accumula#ed sediments or debris shall be in compliance with al! <br /> federal,sta#e and local law and regulations. <br /> �. Annual Inspection and Repart. The Property Owner shall, on an annual basis, <br /> complete the Treatment Measure Operation and Maintenance Inspection ReporE. The <br /> Annual Report shall include all completed Inspection and Maintenance Checklists for the <br /> reporting period and shall be submitted to the City in order to verifiy that inspection and <br /> maintenance of #he applicable starmwater treafinent measure(s) have been conduated <br /> pursuant to this Agreement. The Annual Report shall be submitted no later than <br /> December 31 of each year, under penalty of perjury, to Office of the City Engineer, 1017 <br /> Middle field Road, Redwood City, CA 94063 or another member of the City staff as <br /> directed by the City. The Praperty Owner shall provide in the Annual Report a record of <br /> the volume of all accumulated sediment remaved as a result of the freatment <br /> measure(s}.The Proper[y Owner shall conduct a minimum of one {1) annual inspection of <br /> the stormwater treatment measure(s} before the we#season. This inspection shall occur <br /> between August 1� and October 1S� each year. More frequent inspections may be <br /> required. The results of inspections shall be recorded on the Annual Inspection Report. <br /> 6. Necessary Chanqes and 1111odifications. At its sole expense, the Property Owner <br /> shail make changes or modifcations to the stormwater treatment measure(s) and/or may <br /> be determined as reasonably necessary by the Ci�y to ensure that treatment measures <br /> are properly maintained pursuant to the requirements of this Agreement and continue to <br /> operate as originally designed and approved. - <br /> 7. Access to the Praaertv. The Property Owner hereby gran#s permission to the Cifiy; <br /> the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board {Regional Board); the San <br /> Mateo County Masquito Abatement District (Mosquito Abatement District); and their <br /> authorized agents and employees ta enter at fhe sole cost af fhe Cify or agency listed <br /> above upan the Property af reasonable times and in a reasonable manner to inspec�, <br /> assess or observe the starrnwater treatment measure{s) in order to ensure that treatment <br /> measures are being properly maintained and are continuing to perform in an adequate <br /> manner to profect water quality and the public health and safety.
