Adequate maintenance is herein defined as maintaining the described facilities in good working candition so that these facilities continue to operate as originally designed and approved. The ma9ntenance plan shall include a detailed description af and schedule for long-term mainfenance ,activities. 4. Sediment Manaaement. Sediment accumulation resulting from the normal operation of the stormwater treatment measure(s) relating to the Property will be managed apprapriately by the Property Owner. The Property Owner will provide for the removal and disposal of accumulated sediments relating to the Properfy. Disposal of accumulated sediments shall not accur on #he Property, unless in compliance with all applicabfe laws. Any dispasal or removal of accumula#ed sediments or debris shall be in compliance with al! federal,sta#e and local law and regulations. �. Annual Inspection and Repart. The Property Owner shall, on an annual basis, complete the Treatment Measure Operation and Maintenance Inspection ReporE. The Annual Report shall include all completed Inspection and Maintenance Checklists for the reporting period and shall be submitted to the City in order to verifiy that inspection and maintenance of #he applicable starmwater treafinent measure(s) have been conduated pursuant to this Agreement. The Annual Report shall be submitted no later than December 31 of each year, under penalty of perjury, to Office of the City Engineer, 1017 Middle field Road, Redwood City, CA 94063 or another member of the City staff as directed by the City. The Praperty Owner shall provide in the Annual Report a record of the volume of all accumulated sediment remaved as a result of the freatment measure(s}.The Proper[y Owner shall conduct a minimum of one {1) annual inspection of the stormwater treatment measure(s} before the we#season. This inspection shall occur between August 1� and October 1S� each year. More frequent inspections may be required. The results of inspections shall be recorded on the Annual Inspection Report. 6. Necessary Chanqes and 1111odifications. At its sole expense, the Property Owner shail make changes or modifcations to the stormwater treatment measure(s) and/or may be determined as reasonably necessary by the Ci�y to ensure that treatment measures are properly maintained pursuant to the requirements of this Agreement and continue to operate as originally designed and approved. - 7. Access to the Praaertv. The Property Owner hereby gran#s permission to the Cifiy; the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board {Regional Board); the San Mateo County Masquito Abatement District (Mosquito Abatement District); and their authorized agents and employees ta enter at fhe sole cost af fhe Cify or agency listed above upan the Property af reasonable times and in a reasonable manner to inspec�, assess or observe the starrnwater treatment measure{s) in order to ensure that treatment measures are being properly maintained and are continuing to perform in an adequate manner to profect water quality and the public health and safety.
