These specifications will be provided. With the participation of a local gravel
supply sponsor and an excavation company sponsor, we believe you should be able to undertake the site work for
befinreen $12,000 and $18,000 (exclusive of special engineering, curbing or underground work). This CSDC funding and
sponsorship commitment does not cover any site work, permits or hardscape work. This crushed rock %<minus final grade
material is typicalty available in most regions for$9.00-$12.00 per ton. CSDC has had success seeing this cost
sponsored as well.
8. Memorandum of Understanding as a framework to move forward on the project.
We understand this MOU is to serve as an overview of our agreement to participate and support the project with the
partially donated materials, services and organization of the instalation. All of the details enumerated here shall be more
specifically summarized and approved by the parties in the final Purchase Orders and Installation Services Agreements
which shall be reviewed and appraved by the Recipient. If for any reason the final terms and conditions of such Purchase
Orders and Installation Agreements do not meet RecipienYs approval, then Recipient may opt out of this Devetopment and
Funding Program. The synthetic turf field systems come with the industry standard 8 year manufacturer's warranty and
also a full 5 year installation contractor warranty, a copy of which will be provided to Recipient in advance of final project
commencement . The parties are not required to move forward with installing this project if the additional Recipient site
development and funding is not available. One of the primary purposes of this Memorandum of Understanding is to give
assurances to the CSD Council alliance members and suppliers that this project has a strong potential to move forward
and be funded. In like manner, CSDC and its alliance members cannot lock in a specific delivery and installation date
(see section 11 below) until Recipient commits to the project and a firm installation date is agreed to. The Turf Production
Purchase Order will need to be submitted at least 60 days(and preferably 90 days) prior to instalt in order to reserve a turf
mill production slot. Until that time, the recipient has the full right to terminate this MOU without recourse. In that event,
CSDC reserves the right to provide the donation and sponsorship allocation represented by this Agreement to another
project that is ready to move forward, is fully funded and can commit to a timely installation date.
9. Approval of RecipienYs Board or Administration. The parties understand that entering into this MOU may
require the review and approval of RecipienYs Board or administration. The CSDC would ask that upon approval,
the Recipient would give formal written notice that the MOU has been accepted and ratified.
10. Term of Donation 8Sponsorship Offer. This sponsored donation and its terms and conditions shall
remain open and available for a period of 30 days in order to obtain necessary Board and/or administration approvals
and planning. Beyond that period, CSDC would have to review and seek additional approval from the CSDC alliance
members to confirm continued interest and approval of the project beyond that point.
11. Turf Purchase Order and Timing of Installatron. An important factor that allows our alliance members to
participate in our sponsored and funded projects is careful planning on our part, timing of the production of the
synthetic turf with our sponsor mill and also scheduling the install with the installation company. This needs to be
done as far in advance as possible. There is a limited number of project installation slots available during the busiest
months of June, July, August and September. This doesn't mean that CSDC can't coordinate the installation during
those busier months, BUT, only those projects that have all the funding confirmed, the site work ready to go and the
turf produced and ordered (and paid for) between January and May wilt be able to lock in those summer installation
dates. After that, installation time slots shall be available on a first come, first serve basis. Projects that are in the
more temperate and less rainy sun belt states will also have special consideration and pricing with the goal of
installing those projects in the Fall, Winter and Spring.A summer installation date can be confirmed and locked in, but
this typically must be confirmed and occur at least 3—6 months in advance.
