EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br /> Consultant will prepare an Environmental Impact Report (EIR), in accordance with the <br /> CEQA Guidelines and the City's requirements, for the proposed Cambridge Academy <br /> Project. The EIR will provide an objective determination of the environmental impacts <br /> that could result from the proposed project. <br /> 1.0 PROJECT INITIATION, SCOPING, AND SCHEDULING <br /> Consultant will attend an initial kick-off meeting with the City and the project applicant to <br /> discuss the project and project plans, further refine the EIR Scope as needed, identify <br /> alternatives to the project, and coordinate the scheduling and preparation of the EIR. <br /> 2.0 PREPARATION OF THE EIR NOTICE OF PREPARATION <br /> Consultant will prepare the EIR Notice of Preparation (NOP), in accordance with the <br /> CEQA Guidelines and the requirements of the City. The NOP will include a brief project <br /> description and overview of the anticipated environmental impacts of the proposed <br /> project. <br /> Consultant will submit an electronic copy of the draft NOP to the City and revise it per the <br /> City's comments. After revisions are made, Consultant will email a PDF version of the <br /> NOP to the City for duplication and distribution. Responses to the NOP received during <br /> the 30-day NOP circulation period will be incorporated into the EIR. <br /> 3.0 PREPARATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE DRAFT EIR <br /> Consultant will prepare an Administrative Draft EIR (ADEIR) that will describe the <br /> significant environmental impacts resulting from construction and operation of the <br /> proposed project. The ADEIR will include a table of contents, summary, introduction, <br /> description of the project and environmental setting, an in-depth discussion of <br /> environmental impacts, and proposed mitigation measures and other feasible mitigation <br /> measures identified by the City or other interested persons or agencies. <br /> 3.1 EIR Summary <br /> The ADEIR will include a summary section consisting of a concise description of the <br /> proposed project, a brief narrative outlining the project's environmental impacts, and <br /> proposed mitigation measures.
