PUBLIC COMMENT AND CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Melissa Hippard, a resident of the Centennial neighborhood and a member of the Sierra <br /> Club, said she is representing herself and spoke about zoning, mixed use, inadequate <br /> parking, development, the General Plan, a healthy community, cleaner air, a more <br /> diverse community where people can afford to live, and the promotion of biking, <br /> sidewalks, and transit. She asked Council to convene a task force and volunteered to <br /> help in any way she can. <br /> Bill (William) Nack said he is representing the San Mateo County Building Trades <br /> Council and he submitted a hand out and 492 postcards from residents in support of <br /> union construction workers to live and thrive in this community (on file). He asked that <br /> local residents and workers be kept in mind for development that is coming to Redwood <br /> City for approval. <br /> M/S with Ira/Gee to approve the Consent Calendar as is except for agenda item 6.1.A. <br /> Motion carried unanimously by electronic vote. <br /> M/S Seybert/Ira to approve Consent Calendar item 6.1.A. Motion carried 6-1 by <br /> electronic vote with Council Member Foust recused. <br /> 1. Section - Motion(s) <br /> A. Amendment No.1 to Professional Services Agreement with David <br /> Powers and Associates for the 2580 EI Camino Real (Mel's Bowl site) <br /> Project Environmental Impact Report (EIR).
