Input from relevant staff <br /> will be sought in the implementation and evaluation of this program. <br /> VI. Distribution of Functions <br /> CITY's PE Coordinator and coaches will work with appropriate school staff to implement and <br /> support specific modules of the PE Plus Program. The followin� staff positions and distribution <br /> of roles and responsibilities are outlined below: <br /> CITY PE Coordinotor: The PE Coordinator supported through this grant will organize, <br /> implement, and provide on-site supervision of the PE Plus program. This person is <br /> responsible for hiring, trainin�, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating PE Coaches and <br /> necessary personnel to ensure successful implementation of a safe and effective <br /> program. The PE Coordinator is also responsible for meeting with school administrators, <br /> teachers, partner organizations, and others as necessary to properly represent the CITY <br /> and the Program. The PE Coordinator will also be held responsible for the <br /> development, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of Program curriculum and <br /> results. <br /> CITY Physical Education Cooches: The parties understand that CITY's physical <br /> education coaches will work on site during regular school hours and under the direction <br /> of RCSD credentialed teachers. Physical education coaches help children develop <br /> physical abilities and healthy habits that can last for the rest of their lives The PE <br /> coaches supported through this �rant will organize games and challenges that promote <br /> physical activity among children in grades K-5. Their goal is to develop motor skills and <br /> physical development among younger children and proper exercise and eating habits <br /> among older children. PE teachers must also adjust their curricula to adapt to children <br /> with disabilities or different physical abilities. The PE Coaches will be knowledgeable <br /> about all activities provided to the children, be able to communicate and demonstrate <br /> skills properly, observe all their students and maintain discipline within the class.
