If at this preliminary stage, it is evident that certain sites would not be eligible or suita ble for one <br /> or more of the financial incentives or financing options, E nergy Solutions shall clearly state this <br /> in the Final Report. <br /> TASK 2.4: Conclusions and Recommendations <br /> The results of Tasks 2.1 through 2.3 will be documented in a single detailed Final Report for the <br /> City. The Final Report will provide the City with the information required to make informed <br /> decisions about proceeding to procurement. In addition, the Final Report w ill provide bidders <br /> with the information needed to develop acc urate proposals. <br /> DELIVERABLE <br /> 2) Final Report. <br /> TASK 3. ENERGY EFFICIENCY AUDITS (OPTIONAL) <br /> The energy efficiency analysis is optional. The City of Redwood City may, in its sole and <br /> absolute discretion, elect to engage Energy Solutions to perform an energy efficiency analysis <br /> for selected sites. S uch election and the fee for these services will be memorialized by written <br /> amendment of this Agreement approved by the City and Consultant. <br /> At the City's discretion, Energy Solutions may conduct energy efficiency audits at all sites that <br /> will receive Final Reports. Efficiency audits will allow Energy Solutions to provide more informed <br /> recommendations on appropriate system sizing and facilitate the installation of a PV system that <br /> is right-sized rather than oversiz ed. The energy efficiency assessments below would fulfill the <br /> energy audit requirement for the CSI rebate. <br /> TASK 3.1: Lighting <br /> Energy Solutions shall conduct lighting audits at each site. Lighting audits w ill include the <br /> following: <br /> Task 3.1.1: Pre-Audit Data Collection <br /> Energy Solutions shall obtain from City staff, specific information about the lighting sy stems in <br /> the participating facilities including previous lighting studies, site plans, past retrofit/replacement <br /> project descriptions, occupancy trends, fixture details, and information on any special <br /> considerations related to lighting design m ay not be available for all facilities. If the requested <br /> information is not available, Energy Solutions shall work with City staff to arrive at realistic <br /> assumptions to use in lieu of the missing data. Energy Solutions shall also seek the City's <br /> current project evaluation criteria, including c ost and payback thresholds. <br /> Task 3.1.2: Site Visits <br /> Energy Solutions shall conduct site visits, which will include a detailed lighting survey and a <br /> discussion with City staff on their priorities and special needs relating to lighti ng that will guide <br /> our retrofit recommendations. <br /> ATTY/AGR/2012.091/ENERGY SOLUTIONS <br /> REV:07-23-12 VR <br /> Page 17 of 22 <br />
