EXHIBIT D <br /> Duties & Objectives:Temporary Counter Supervisor <br /> July 9, 2012 <br /> Following is a description of the specific duties and objectives for the temporary Counter <br /> Supervisor (Senior Building Inspector) assignment: <br /> Manage the Permit Counter of the Community Development Department. <br /> Perform responsible management, technical, and administrative work in planning, organizing, <br /> and coordinating the activities of Building & Inspection personnel; provide technical staff <br /> assistance. Assist, coordinate and perform review of building permit application packages <br /> including application, plans, specification and supporting documents for compliance with City <br /> and State laws and regulations governing construction on private and public property. <br /> 1. Position will have no field inspectio� duties or assignments. Position will work in <br /> professional office environment; <br /> 2. Supervision Received: Counter Supervisor will report to and take direction from Building <br /> Official; <br /> 3. Supervision Exercised: Directly supervise two Permit Technician positions and one Building <br /> Secretary position; <br /> 4. Counter hours: 7:OOam—S:OOpm Monday through Friday. Closed weekends and holidays; <br /> 5. Employee work hours: 8:OOam —S:OOprn, 1-hour lunch break mid-day; <br /> 6. Counter Staffing: Planning for minimum staffing levels at public counter and matching the <br /> staffing levels to the periods of greater resource needs; <br /> 7.
