6.1.C. - Page 2 <br /> ALTERNATIVES <br /> Council may choose not to enter the agreement. Not entering to this agreement will <br /> produce incomplete cleaning of the Bayfront Canal. This could create deterioration of <br /> storm water flow in the Bayfront Canal and may lead to extensive flooding, property <br /> damages in the area. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> This is a Right of Entry agreement and no known financial impact is identified except <br /> unforeseen restoration requirements that may relate to the cleaning work. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br /> As the lead agency, the City of Redwood City has determined that the actions proposed <br /> in this report are considered Categorically Exempt pursuant to Section 15301 (Class 1) <br /> and/or Section 15304 (Class 4) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> Guidelines. Class 1, "Existing Facilities", allows for maintenance and repair of existing <br /> facilities involving negligible or no expansion of use of the existing facilities. Class 4, <br /> "Minor Alternation to Land", allows for minor alterations in the condition of land, water, <br /> and/or vegetation which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees except <br /> for forestry or agricultural purposes.
