6.4.A. - Page 4
The specific text and chart edits, which carry out these changes, are provided in the
proposed resolution, which is Attachment 1.
ALTERNATIVES
1. Do not approve the Plan amendment.
2. Approve the Plan amendment subject to further changes as directed by Council.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no direct fiscal impact resulting from this amendment.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
A Program Environmental Impact Report (State Clearinghouse #2006052027) (EIR)
was prepared and certified by the City Council on January 24, 2011, in connection with
the adoption of the Downtown Precise Plan. The proposed amendments to the
Downtown Precise Plan do not introduce any new uses to the Downtown Precise Plan
area, nor is the development capacity of the Downtown Precise Plan being increased.
As such, the proposed modifications are not anticipated to result in any significant
impacts, nor any increase in the severity of previously identified impacts, and no change
in circumstance have occurred with respect to the Downtown Precise Plan or the EIR
that would alter prior environmental findings, conclusion, or mitigation measures.
Because all potentially significant effects have been analyzed adequately in the EIR
pursuant to applicable standards, no further environmental analysis is required.
DANZACK
DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
G
BILL EKERN
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

ROBERT B.
