If no <br /> bats are detected,then no further surveys are required. However, if bats are detected <br /> in a tree or struciure on the site,the bats shal9 be passively excluded/evicted fro�n the <br /> roost area for twa cansecuti�u� days. Priar to removing any trees <br /> defined as an ordinance size under the Ciiy of Redwood City's Tree Preservation <br /> Ordinance,the app3icant shall apply for a tree remova] permit. Under the Ordinance, <br /> the�alue of the tree to be ramoved, as determined by a certified arborist, must be <br /> replaced with the p�anting of new trees. The replanting of a minimum of one new <br /> tree for each tree remaved is a general condition of a tree remaval permit. The <br /> appiicant has proposed a replacement program for tree removal at a ratia of <br /> approximately 5 to l. <br /> Finding: Implementatian of MM BCO—3 would reduce impacts from removat of mature trees <br /> and reduce impacts ta existing trees to be preserved. <br /> Facts in Support of Fending: Implementation of MM BIO—3 would reduce impacts from the loss <br /> of mature trees by requiring planting of replacament trees, as described in Sectian 2.6 <br /> —Siological Resources of the Draft EIR on pages 92-1�4, which is hereby <br /> incorparated by refer�nce. <br /> 3 <br />
