2. SERVICES OF CITY. <br /> a. Pay contractor the sum of One Thousand Five Hundred Doliars ($1,500.00) <br /> to be used for Iive entertainment solely for use at its 2012 Fiestas Patrias <br /> Celebration. <br /> 3. It is understood and agreed that this agreement is for the performance of expert <br /> professional services and that in the pertormance thereof you shall be deemed <br /> an independent contractor, and not an employee, agent or other representative <br /> of the City. Services to be perFormed hereunder shall be deemed unique <br /> organizational services, and you shall not assign, sublet, transfer or otherwise <br /> substltute your interest in this agreement or your obligations hereunder, without <br /> the prior written consent of the City. <br /> 4. Contractor acknowledges and agrees that it shall bear all costs of the live <br /> musical groups for Mexican Independence Celebration above the amount <br /> provided by the City of Redwood City as described in pa�agraph 2a. <br /> If the foregoing terms and conditions are acceptable to the Contractor, and the <br /> Contractor desires to contract for the funds herein described, kindly have the original <br /> thereof executed and return the same to the City.
