Exhibit A Scope of Services: The selected Contractor will provide, as a minimum,the following services. TASK 1—TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR 1- All labor,tools, equipment,materials necessary to properly maintain the Traffic Signals owned by the City. 2- Preventative Maintenance (PM): Each month, the Contractor will perform the Monthly PM. Twice a year the Contractor will perform the Semi-Annual PM which includes the Monthly PM. Once a year, the Contractor will perform the Annual PM which includes the Semi-Annual PM,and Monthly PM. Monthl.� On a monthly basis, Contractor will perform the following PM inspection and complete repairs as necessary. a. Inspect Signal Controller and Cabinet Contents for proper functioning to include: 1. Check general overall appearance of Controller Cabinet, Type 3 Service and Battery Back-Up Cabinets(vacuum if necessary). 2. Check presence of Signal Cabinet Wiring Schematics and Records. 3. Verify current Signal Controller Timing Logs. 4. Verify that Programmed Signal Controller Timing matches Intersection Timing Logs. 5. Verify that Signal Controller and Conflict Monitor function in relation to traffic. 6. Inspect Loop Detector Amplifiers(tune if necessary). 7. Inspect Video Detection Unit/Camera Alignment(if applicable). 8. Load Switches and Relays. 9. Light Switches and Ground-Fault Receptacles. 10. Inspect Cabinet Fan and Thermostat. 11. Inspect Battery Back-Up Unit charging system(if applicable). 12. Inspect Pre-emption System. 13. lnspect Signal Interconnect. 14. Wire terminals for corrosion and integrity of all wire connections (including BBS battery terminals). 15. Inspect Ground Rod and Grounding System for corrosion and ensure integrity of wire connections. 16. Inspect Cabinet Filter for cleanliness and serviceability(clean or vacuum if necessary). 17. Weather-proof gasket on Controller Cabinet and all other associated Cabinets. 18. Inspect Door Lock operation. b. Inspect Intersection for proper functioning to include: 1. Inspect Vehicular Signals for alignment, paint,outages,bent, broken, or corroded hardware. 2. Inspect Pedestrian Signals and Audibles for alignment, paint, outages, bent, broken,or corroded hardware.
