Exhibit A <br /> Scope of Services: <br /> The selected Contractor will provide, as a minimum,the following services. <br /> TASK 1—TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR <br /> 1- All labor,tools, equipment,materials necessary to properly maintain the Traffic Signals owned by the <br /> City. <br /> 2- Preventative Maintenance (PM): Each month, the Contractor will perform the Monthly PM. Twice a <br /> year the Contractor will perform the Semi-Annual PM which includes the Monthly PM. Once a year, <br /> the Contractor will perform the Annual PM which includes the Semi-Annual PM,and Monthly PM. <br /> Monthl.� <br /> On a monthly basis, Contractor will perform the following PM inspection and complete repairs as <br /> necessary. <br /> a. Inspect Signal Controller and Cabinet Contents for proper functioning to include: <br /> 1. Check general overall appearance of Controller Cabinet, Type 3 Service and Battery <br /> Back-Up Cabinets(vacuum if necessary). <br /> 2. Check presence of Signal Cabinet Wiring Schematics and Records. <br /> 3. Verify current Signal Controller Timing Logs. <br /> 4. Verify that Programmed Signal Controller Timing matches Intersection Timing Logs. <br /> 5. Verify that Signal Controller and Conflict Monitor function in relation to traffic. <br /> 6. Inspect Loop Detector Amplifiers(tune if necessary). <br /> 7. Inspect Video Detection Unit/Camera Alignment(if applicable). <br /> 8. Load Switches and Relays. <br /> 9. Light Switches and Ground-Fault Receptacles. <br /> 10. Inspect Cabinet Fan and Thermostat. <br /> 11. Inspect Battery Back-Up Unit charging system(if applicable). <br /> 12. Inspect Pre-emption System. <br /> 13. lnspect Signal Interconnect. <br /> 14. Wire terminals for corrosion and integrity of all wire connections (including BBS battery <br /> terminals). <br /> 15. Inspect Ground Rod and Grounding System for corrosion and ensure integrity of wire <br /> connections. <br /> 16. Inspect Cabinet Filter for cleanliness and serviceability(clean or vacuum if necessary). <br /> 17. Weather-proof gasket on Controller Cabinet and all other associated Cabinets. <br /> 18. Inspect Door Lock operation. <br /> b. Inspect Intersection for proper functioning to include: <br /> 1. Inspect Vehicular Signals for alignment, paint,outages,bent, broken, or corroded <br /> hardware. <br /> 2.
