3. Inspect Pedestrian Push-Buttons for Signal Controller actuation and bent,broken,or <br /> corroded hardware. <br /> 4. Inspect Signal Poles for paint,dents, or cracks and missing hand hole covers. <br /> 5. Inspect pull boxes for cracked, broken,or missing lids. Check condition of splices. <br /> 6. Inspect Loops in Roadway for exposed,torn,or broken wires. <br /> c. Record Date and Time along with findings and work performed. <br /> Semi-Annual PM <br /> On a semi-annual (every 6 months) basis, Contractor will perform the Monthly PM as well as the <br /> Semi-Annual PM and complete repairs as necessary. Listed below is the Semi-Annual PM inspection <br /> list. <br /> l. Rotate Back-Up Batteries. <br /> 2. Take voltage measurements from Back-Up Batteries by performing Battery Load-Test. <br /> 3. Test Battery Back-Up by disconnecting PG&E power at service cabinet. <br /> 4. Check ground rod clamp and wire. <br /> 5. Visually check integrity of wire splices. <br /> 6. Adjust all mast arm mounted street name signs as needed. <br /> 7. Record Date and Time along with findings and work performed. <br /> Annual PM <br /> On an annual (every 12 months) basis, Contractor will perform the Monthly PM, Semi-Annual PM, <br /> Annual PM, and complete repairs as necessary. Listed below is the Annual PM Inspection list. <br /> 1. lnspect Utility Electrical Service Cabinet and hardware supplying power to Signal <br /> Controller Cabinet. <br /> 2. Vacuum and clean Signal Controller Cabinet, Electrical Service Cabinet,and BBS <br /> Cabinet(if applicable). <br /> 3. Take voltage measurements at service inputs to Signal Controller Cabinet from Utility <br /> Service Feed. <br /> 4. Take voltage measurements at BBS inputs from Utility Service Feed(if applicable). <br /> 5. Take voltage measurements at service inputs to Signal Controller Cabinet from BBS (if <br /> applicable). <br /> 6. Check for water accumulation and duct sealant as necessary. <br /> 7. Replace Signal Cabinet Filter if nylon-mesh type. <br /> 8. Vacuum and clean Signal Cabinet Filter if aluminum-mesh type. <br /> 9. lnspect hinges and locking mechanisms on all Signal Associated Cabinets and lubricate <br /> as necessary. <br /> 10. Record Date and Time along with findings and work performed. <br /> 3- Other Maintenance <br /> a. In addition to PM inspections and repair, Contractor will respond to other maintenance service <br /> requests such as but not limited to traffic signal outages,traffic signal malfunctions, and <br /> requests to replace burnt out signal lamps. <br /> b.Contractor will make every effort to incorporate other maintenance service requests into PM <br /> inspection and repair. <br /> c. Other Maintenance is considered Extra Work and will be billed at the negotiated Time and <br /> Materials Rate. <br /> 4- Emergency Work <br /> a.
