6.1.B. - Page 20 <br /> PopulafionlHousing <br /> Consultant will complete the following tasks: <br /> � Discuss qualitativefy the indirect housing effect resu�ting from the project and ir� <br /> #he context of Associatio� af Bay Area Governments (ABAG} regional <br /> household farecasts and fair share housing allocations and discuss whether <br /> the City can accommodate tl�e demand. <br /> � Estimate the indirect empEoyment grawth in the region from th� "multiplier <br /> efFect" due to increased employment, using ABAG's regional input-output <br /> fac#ors. <br /> Public Services <br /> Based on information received from �arious service providers, Consultant will <br /> conduct the foilowing tasks: <br /> • As necessary, conduct phone/email interviews with the City's police, fire, and <br /> park aRd recreatian departmer�ts, the schaol district, and tF�e Ibrary to <br /> determine current service levels and capacity to serve incr�asecf dema�d. <br /> • Estimate proj�ct-generated demand tor public services based on existing <br /> operational standards obtained fr�m the service providers. �tf�er measures of <br /> demand wiil also be cortsidered, such as the projected increase i� the calls for <br /> service and the projecfed demand of recreatianal facilities and library services. <br /> + In accordance with CEQA, evaluate khe extent to which project demands would <br /> #rigger the need for new public facilities whose constr�ctian might result in <br /> physical environmental effects. <br /> TransportationlTraffic <br /> Cansulta�t wilf work with Hexagon Transportation Consultar�ts {"Su�-Consultant") <br /> to prepare a transparta#ion impact analysis (TIA} for the project, which will be <br /> incorporated into the lnitial Study. Sub-Consultant will analyze up to five <br /> intersectiorts in tF�e traffic study. The purpose of the study is to determine the traffic <br /> impacts of fhe �roposed development or� key intersections in the vicinity af the site <br /> during weekday AM and PM pe�k commute hours. Analysis ofi additional study <br /> intersections, if required, will require authorization and additional budget. The TIA will <br /> b� prepared consistent with the City ofi Redwooc! City and San Mateo County <br /> Congestion Managemer�t Program (CMP) requirements and will obtain information <br /> from the recer�tly-prepared Stanford EfR. The subtasks to be included in the T�A for <br /> the project are as follows: <br /> • �sk 1.Site Reconnaissance and Existing Observa#ions <br /> Physical characteristics of the study area and the surraunding roadway netvuork will <br /> be updated to iden#ify existing roadway cross sec#ions, in#ersection lane <br /> configurations, traffic control devices, and surrounding land uses.
