Task 4. CEQA Recommendat�ons Purpose: Provide a recommendatian to the City on the most appropriate ievel of CEQA rer�iew required for the proposed project. Provide a scope, �udget, and schedule for the next phase of the CEQA r��iew, if necessary. Discussion: At this stage, Consultant will recommend how to proceed with the CEQA pracess, depending on the findings from the Administra�i�e Draft 1S I. !f significant and unavoidable impacts are identified and an EIR is required, the City may ar may not choose to go through t�e steps to prepare the subsequent IS drafts (Administtati�e Draft IS II as described in Task 5). If all impacts can �e mitigated #o a iess-than-significant level, then an Administrative Draft II, Screencheck, and Final ISIMND wifl be prepared, as outlined in Task 5. If the City determines that a� EIR is required, Cansultant will prepare and submit to the City for review a subsequent scope af services tor preparatian of an EIR. AssumptJons: The level of effort �s variable and dapends on Ciiy comments on the Administrative Draft L in addition, comments submitted during the community outreach meeting could be considered during this task. The level of effort included in the cost estimate reflects th�e duratian of#he task, the a�aila�le time to turnaround the reports, and m�nor comments from City staff and mem�ers of the publfc/commenting age�cies.
