EXHIBIT "A"
SCOPE OF SERVICES AND TIME SCHEDULE
Task 5.3 —100% Final Design (Additional Effort)
The WRECO Design Team will require additional design efforts to complete the 100%
PS&E. This task includes the following:
• The existing 24" waterline shall remain in its current location instead of being relocated around
the project improvements. The waterline alignment crosses under the proposed creek side wall,
trail slab, and through Retaining Wall No.1. The revision to maintain the current waterline results
in the need to redesign a portion of Retaining Wall No.1 and the trail slab, and the development of
additional plan details. Work includes updates to the design plans, specifications, and cost
estimate.
Caltrans has recently notified the City that it must relocate the proposed gates on each side of the
pedestrian undercrossing of 101. This will require foundation designs for the stand-alone gates.
The structural plans will be coordinated and resubmitted to Caltrans for re -approval signatures.
Work includes updates to the design plans, specifications, and cost estimate.
Deliverables
• Revised Final PS&E - PDFs
• Final Design Submittal to Caltrans Structural— PDFs
Task 5.4 — Value Engineering
The WRECO Design Team will work closely with the City and the City's Construction Manager to
identify and evaluate any value engineering that can be implemented after Caltrans approvals
of the 100% Final Design.
Deliverables
• Value Engineered Final PS&E
• Final Design Submittal to Caltrans if applicable
Task 6.2 - Additional Construction Support due to Caltrans PEER Process
The WRECO Project Team will provide construction support including site visits, coordination
with the contractor, response to bid requests for information (RFIs), response to construction
RAS, submittals review, shop drawings review, construction change orders review and
approval, coordination with Caltrans on change orders and shop drawings that require Caltrans
approval, and as -built plans.
Task performed will be billed on 2018 billing rates attached hereto
Page 3 of 8
ATTV/AGR/2018/AMENDMENTS/AMEND NO.4 WRECO — US 101 UC
REV: 08-29-18 PR
