EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES AND TIME SCHEDULE <br /> Task 1 — Project Kick-off <br /> Consultant shall: <br /> a. Schedule a meeting with City of Redwood City staff for project kick-off. All <br /> members of the consultant's design team shall attend the project kick-off <br /> meeting. <br /> b. Review conceptual drawings, jurisdictional boundary, and Redwood Creek <br /> undercrossing rendering <br /> c. Schedule and conduct a field reconnaissance to assess existing site conditions <br /> d. Schedule and conduct a constructability review with eligible contractors and city <br /> staff at the project site. <br /> e. Obtain and review bridge as-built and record drawings <br /> f. Establish a detailed project schedule which will include the primary project tasks, <br /> major project milestones, agency review periods and critical tasks being <br /> performed by others that may affect the completion of the project. <br /> Deliverables: Include meeting minutes and updated project schedule <br /> Task 2 —Topographic Surveying/Utility Location <br /> Consultant shall: <br /> a. Complete potholing as required to locate existing underground utilities. <br /> b. Create a ground-edited topographic and boundary survey. <br /> c. Locate underground utilities within project limits and show all above- and below- <br /> grade utilities and site features <br /> d. Request utility as built information from PG&E, SBSA, AT&T and other pertinent <br /> utilities companies <br /> Task 3 — Preliminary Design <br /> Consultant shall: <br /> a. Develop design base map and prepare preliminary plans and profile drawings <br /> defining the alignment and elevations of the proposed pedestrian/bicycle <br /> undercrossing <br /> b. Conduct design team meeting to discuss and coordinate any design issues <br /> c. Conduct design concept meetings where the project team shall present to the <br /> City the preliminary plans for the project and highlight the design concept and <br /> key features. <br /> d. Perform geotechnical investigation including review of existing data, limited <br /> subsurface exploration, driller permits, laboratory soils testing, and preparation of <br /> the Geotechnical Design report. <br /> e.
