, Task 3-Installer shall provide and install safeguard connections ■ Installer shall use silicone to attach all extension cords (14 or 16 gauge heavy duty black and/or green wire) and lights and will provide all necessary adaptors, zip ties, electrical tape, and u- nails. *NOTE-Existing outlets have built in timers. $350.00 Task 4—Contractor will test lights before the event and attend the event; ■ On November 29th or 30th�the installer will test lights at sun down and make adjustments to the installation as necessary in preparation for the event. ■ On Saturday, December 15t, the installer will attend the event and be available to resolve any problems at the lighting of the tree for the Hometown Holiday event which is scheduled to take place between 5:30pm-6:30pm. $1,000.00 Task 5 - For three (3) years beginning on December 1, 2012 and ending on November 30, 2015, Contractor shall provide service for the upkeep of the light installation at $85.00 per hour plus any supply costs (mostly lights)to fix anything that is out. Contractor will submit a quote for approval prior to any work. In the case that a huge portion is out, it may be necessary to rent a boom lift and that is an additional cost. As part of the service provided,the City may request the installer to: ■ Identify any damage to the string lights including cables, bulbs, and connections, and fix the identified problems(s) in a timely manner so the lights are working for the Hometown Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremonies in 2013,2014,2015. ■ Correct damage in case of vandalism caused by humans or animals at any time. ■ Provide a quote for the service required. Not to exceed$2,040.00 TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED $15,555.11 Schedule ■ Task 1-3:October 19-25—Install lights Task 4: November 29th or 30th - Test lights, make adjustments as necessary, December 15` _ Attend and be available to resolve any problems at the lighting of the tree for the Hometown Holiday event to take place between 5:30pm-6:30 pm ■ Task 5: December 1,2012-November 30,2015 2.
