E. CONSULTANT shall prepare all design/construction documentation to bring <br /> construction costs within CITY's Established Budget of$950,000. The <br /> Established Budget includes all hard construction costs that will arise from <br /> CONSULTANT's Construction Documents, including prevailing wages and <br /> standard escalation attributable to estimated time of construction. CITY <br /> acknowledges that the current budget has not been validated against the Project <br /> program and scope at the time of execution of this Agreement. In the event <br /> additional services to value engineer and redesign are required to lower <br /> construction costs after the budget has been validated at completion of Design <br /> Development, the parties will amend this Agreement to reflect the compensation <br /> for additional services as mutually negotiated and agreed between the parties. <br /> F. The CITY shall provide geotechnical information as necessary for the design <br /> which may include test boring, test pits, determinations of soil bearing values, <br /> percolation tests, evaluations of hazardous materials, ground corrosion tests and <br /> resistivity tests, including reports and appropriate recommendations. <br /> SECTION 3. BASIC SERVICES. <br /> Task 1. Meetinqs (Desiqn Development throuqh Construction Documents Phasel. <br /> During the course of services outlined in Task 2-4, of this Section 2, Scope of Services, <br /> CONSULTANT shall: <br /> 1.1 Coordination Meetinqs. Attend a maximum of two (2) coordination meetings with <br /> CITY, which, at CITY's discretion, may include the representatives from the City. <br /> CONSULTANT shall coordinate all meetings through CITY. CONSULTANT shall <br /> prepare meeting minutes for all coordination meetings and shall submit meeting <br /> minutes to CITY for distribution. <br /> 1.2 Public Meetinqs. Conduct and facilitate a maximum of one (1) public meeting.. <br /> For the purposes of this AGREEMENT, "conduct and facilitate meetings" means <br /> CONSULTANT shall attend the meeting, prepare an agenda and materials in <br /> sufficient quantity for distribution at meetings, present and lead discussion, take <br /> and circulate draft meeting minutes for CITY's review and comment and prepare <br /> and circulate final meeting minutes, and prepare written responses to appropriate <br /> comments and suggestions at follow-up meetings. <br /> 1.3 Requlatory Meetinqs. CONSULTANT shall meet with all required regulatory <br /> agencies and City departments with permit or regulatory jurisdiction over the <br /> Project to review applicable codes and regulations and to receive feedback on <br /> design (2 meetings maximum). <br /> Task 2. Desiqn Development (50% Construction Documentsl. Following CITY's <br /> approval of CONSULTANT's Schematic Design on September 26, 2012, <br /> CONSULTANT shall prepare Design Development Documents (50% Construction <br /> ATTY/AGR/2012/AMENDMENTS/AMEND N0.1 NBBJ <br /> REV:01-09-13 VR <br />
