Task 4. Bid Support Services. During CITY's competitive bidding for construction of <br /> the Project, CONSULTANT shall provide the following bid support services to CITY: <br /> 4.1 CONSULTANT shall prepare supporting documentation and written responses to <br /> questions from bidders, including revised plans or specifications, if needed, for <br /> addenda, as required, to be issued by CITY. <br /> 4.2 CONSULTANT shall attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting with bidders. CITY <br /> shall be responsible for preparing meeting minutes for pre-bid meeting and <br /> distribution. <br /> 4.3 CONSULTANT shall review bids and assist CITY in determining the lowest <br /> responsive and responsible bidder. <br /> 4.4 If, at the time of bid opening, the lowest responsive and responsible bid exceeds <br /> CONSULTANT's Estimate of Probable Construction Costs for 100% Construction <br /> Documents by more than 10%, CONSULTANT shall present the CITY with Value <br /> Engineering recommendations and revise the Construction Documents as the <br /> CITY directs, to reduce the Project Construction Cost as an additional service. <br /> Deliverables. CONSULTANT shall submit the 90% and 100% complete Construction <br /> Documents Plans to CITY as one (1) unbound reproducible blackline on bond set and <br /> one (1) bound blackline sets in 24" x 36" or 30" x 42" size and also AutoCAD/PDF <br /> format. CONSULTANT shall submit the 90% and 100% complete Construction <br /> Documents Technical Specifications to CITY as one (1) unbound, single-sided original, <br /> in 8'h" x 11" size, printed on bond paper and two (2) bound, double-sided copies, in 8'/z" <br /> x 11" size, printed on bond paper. <br /> CONSULTANT shall also submit a sufficient number of copies of the 90% and 100% <br /> complete Construction Documents (Plans and Technical Specifications) to Regulatory <br /> Authorities having jurisdiction for plan check review and building permitting approval. <br /> CONSULTANT shall submit one (1) unbound original andone (1) bound copies of the <br /> updated Estimates of Probable Construction Costs at the 90% and 100% stages of <br /> construction completion. The Estimates of Probable Construction Costs shall be <br /> produced in CSA MasterFormat Format and shall be an Excel document. <br /> CONSULTANT shall transmit the Estimates of Probable Construction Costs both in hard <br /> copy and electronic forms. <br /> ATTY/AGR/2012/AMENDMENTS/AMEND N0.1 NBBJ <br /> REV:01-09-13 VR <br />
