Consultant shall also furnish an electronic copy of the drawings in AutoCAD <br /> (version 2004 or latest) and in PDF format, specifications in Word, and cost estimate and <br /> construction schedule in Excel. <br /> TASK 6— BID SUPPORT AND CONSTRUCTION SERVICES <br /> Consultant shall perform the following services during the bidding process and construction <br /> phase of the project. <br /> 1. Provide a list of prospective bidders, information and responses during bid <br /> phase. <br /> 2. Attend and conduct pre-bid meeting. Respond to questions from <br /> prospective bidders. For the purposes of this proposal Consultant will <br /> provide input to one (1) addendum that will be issued by the City. Review <br /> bid summaries. <br /> 3. Attend the preconstruction meeting and preliminary site visit and provide <br /> technical input. <br /> 4. Review shop drawings/submittals (assume 40 with 10 resubmittals), change <br /> order requests (assume 4), requests for information (assume 20), and provide <br /> written recommendations to the City. <br /> 5. Provide technical support during pump station startup and acceptance testing. <br /> Consultant shall assume a total of twenty four (24) hours of technical support <br /> from the project electrical engineer and SCADA engineer. <br /> 6. Prepare Record Drawings based on construction field notes and limited field <br /> review by the Consultant. Consultant shall assume four (4) construction field <br /> visits to be performed by the project manager or project engineer, four (4) by the <br /> structural engineer, two (2) by the architect, and one (1) by the landscape <br /> architect. Consultant shall furnish one (1) set of full-size plans on 4-mil mylar <br /> media along with drawing files for each discipline in AutoCAD. <br /> OPTIONAL TASKS: <br /> OPTIONAL TASK 7— POTHOLING <br /> Consultant shall submit a proposed potholing plan to the City for review and approval. Proposed <br /> pothole locations will be recommended based on the utility mapping and proposed new facilities <br /> that may be in conflict. Potholing will be performing using an air extraction method in to limit <br /> disturbance. For the purposes of this proposal, IEC assumes six (6) potholes will be performed. <br /> OPTIONAL TASK 8—CONCRETE TANK DESIGN <br /> Following completion of the Preliminary (30%) design, the City and Consultant shall discuss <br /> whether to design the project using a steel or a concrete tank. Upon approval by City, <br /> Consultant shall design a concrete tank (either a circular prestressed AVWVA D110 Type I or <br /> conventionally reinforced rectangular tank).
