EXHIBIT "B" <br />ON BROADWAY - PARHING GARAGE <br />CLARIFICATIONS & EXCLUSIONS <br />lof8 <br />C5I # DESCRIPTION CLARIFICATION <br />1710 CLEANUP • Periodic construction cleaning is included. <br /> • Final construction clean consisting of broom clean floors, wet mop of <br /> VCT, dust and wipe down of doors and finished surfaces, cleaning of <br /> lass and removal of own debris. <br />2010 SURVEY Include horizontal and vertical control of construction is included <br /> based on Owner furnished survey and control plan. <br /> • As built surve s to be rovided for ile locations and site utilities. <br />2060 DEMOLITION Demolition and removal of sidewalk and pavement of Middlefield <br /> Road to edge of curb on west side of street for excavation of Parking <br /> Garage from grid line 10-11 / A-R is included in the Garage GMP. <br /> • All other demolition required for construction of building above and <br /> sidewalks is excluded from Garage Contract but included as part of <br /> Site & Building Budget. <br /> • Demolition of areas outside curb at Broadway, Jefferson and <br /> Middlefield (except for area required for garage construction) is <br /> excluded. <br /> • Salvage or special handling of materials is excluded. Assume all <br /> stored materials in buildings, parking meter heads, etc. to be removed <br /> by others prior to Notice to Proceed. <br /> • Removal and delivery of City streetlights traffic and cross walk <br /> signals to RWC Public Works yard is included. <br /> • Subcontractor bond for demolition is excluded. <br /> • Demolition is based on a continuous and uninterrupted flow of work <br /> over the entire site. Impacts for delays to access areas of work or <br /> buildings are not included in the GMP. <br />2104 DEWATERING • GMP is based on drilling and removing 32 temporary dewatering well <br /> based on our review of the Soils report and normal climatic <br /> conditions. <br /> • The possibility of subsidence occurring on this project property and / <br /> or adjacent properties during or subsequent to dewatering operations <br /> is impossible to predict. The Owner shall indemnify and hold Wentz <br /> Group harmless from all liability, loss, claim, demands and costs, <br /> including attorney's fees and applicable interest, rising from any <br /> subsidence occurring or alleged to occurred by reasons of dewatering <br /> activities covered in this contract. <br /> • GMP is based on one mobilization for installation of dewatering <br /> system. <br /> • Handling for excess water is excluded. <br /> • Handling, monitoring, treatment and disposal of contaminated water <br /> are excluded. <br /> • Bond for dewaterin subcontractor is included in the GMP. <br />2150 SHORING • Provide temporary perimeter shoring full height of excavation using <br /> drilled-in-place beams 2 rows of external tiebacks and treated wood <br /> lagging. <br /> • Shoring to be "Design Build" based on design criteria provided by the <br /> Geotechnical Engineer. <br /> • Shoring to be installed at "Property Line" of building that will require <br /> an L shaped footing in lieu of T footing currently shown. It is the <br /> intent to apply waterproofing directly to the lagging and air-place <br /> (shotcrete) concrete for perimeter below grade walls. <br /> • Owner /RWC to provide all shoring and tieback agreements, <br />
