EXHIBIT "B" <br />ON $ROADWAY -PARKING GARAGE <br />CLARIFICATIONS & EXCLUSIONS <br />~~f~ <br /> • Provide fire !smoke dampers as required at fan rooms. <br />• Provide grill and grates as required for exhaust and make up air <br />systems. <br />• Bond for HVAC subcontractor is included. <br />16000 DESIGN BUILD . • Provide primary conduits to new PG&E transformer vault from a new <br /> ELECTRICAL PG&E installed splice box located at Broadway & Jefferson. <br /> • Provide secondary conduit and wire to new service gear and meter <br /> socket for Garage in separate electrical room. <br /> • Provide surface mounted garage fixtures to provide illumination of 5 <br /> fc / SF. <br /> • Fixtwes at Attendant Office, Restroom, stairwells and elevators to be <br /> swface mounted fluorescent. <br /> • Provide analog addressable fire alarm system. <br /> • Provide emergency generator (location to be determined) for <br /> emergency lighting and exhaust system. Since location has not be <br /> determined costs for fuel piping and exhaust have not been included. <br /> Please note that generator is not required by code and will be replaced <br /> by battery pack emergency lighting and credit offered for generator. <br /> • Provide power for exhaust systems and HVAC equipment. <br /> • Provide power for sump pump. <br /> • Provide power and lighting for Attendant Office and parking <br /> equipment (one point connection). <br /> • Conduits, multiple connection points, low voltage controls, etc. for <br /> Parking Control equipment is excluded. <br /> • Provide conduit only for phone to fire alarm, Attendant Office, Code <br /> Blue and elevator communication. Wire; phone service and <br /> monitoring by others. <br /> • Provide emergency help stations (Code Blue) consisting of two-way <br /> intercoms to Attendant Office and blue strobe lights with internal <br /> camera at each unit. Help stations to be located in center of parking <br /> isle within 100' - 125' of max travel. <br /> • Provide video surveillance system utilizing of fixed color cameras. <br /> Video feed to termiriate at Attendant's Office and will be provided <br /> with digital video recorder with rapid playback and 30 days of digital <br /> storage. Cameras to be provided at help stations garage entrance and <br /> exit, outside of each stairwell at each level. Cameras at help stations <br /> will only record when activated. Functional criteria for recording for <br /> entrances and stairwells needs to be mutually established to meet <br /> needs of operator and budget. <br /> • All PG&E primary cable, splice box vault and installation, <br /> transformer, engineering and connection fees are excluded. <br /> • Any decorative or accent lighting are excluded. <br /> • Bond for Electrical subcontractor is included. <br /> SITE LOGISTICS • Assumed Broadway, Jefferson and Middlefield (east side) sidewalks <br /> to be closed for duration of the project. <br /> • Temporary fence to be installed at curb line of Broadway, Jefferson <br /> and West side of Middleteld with Middlefield closed to all traffic for <br /> dwation of project. <br /> • Assumed sufficient area for GC and subcontractor trailers, material <br /> deliveries, shake out and lay down area, etc. on lot 2 parking lot south <br /> of project. This space to be used solely by Wentz for duration of <br /> entire project at no cost. <br /> • Assumed reasonable lane closures on surrounding streets for duration <br />
