EXHIBIT A <br /> PART A - PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE <br /> Contractor shall provide preventative maintenance, once each year for the five years of <br /> the contract term, to each of the City's sixty-two Flygt equipped sewage pumps located <br /> throughout the Redwood City, Redwood Shores District, which pumps are listed herein <br /> below. Such preventative maintenance shall include: <br /> 1. A complete 21 point mechanical and electrical inspection of each of the sixty-finro <br /> pump/mixers as follows: <br /> a) Check electrical condition of insulation on power cable and on all phases of motor. <br /> (In Meg Ohms) <br /> b) Check for any loose or faulty electrical connections within the pump control panel. <br /> c) Measure resistance befinreen stator windings (In Ohms) <br /> d) Check voltage supply befinreen all phases of the electrical control panel. (VAC) <br /> e) Check voltage balance between all phases on the load side* of the pump control <br /> with pump on. (VAC) <br /> fl Check amperage draws on all phases of the pump motor. (In Amps) <br /> g) Check condition and operation of motor thermal protectors control system (if so <br /> equipped). <br /> h) Removal of Flygt pump(s) from lift station for physical inspection. <br /> i) Check condition of upper shaft seals (inspect condition of motor housing). <br /> j) Check condition and operation of leakage detector (if so equipped). <br /> k) Check lower shaft seals (inspect condition of oil). <br /> I) Change oil if needed (cost of oil included). <br /> m) Check for worn or loose impeller. <br /> n) Check all impeller wear rings. (Note: Wear rings are not covered by warranty and <br /> must be purchased as part of Part B of this Contract by City if in need of <br /> replacement) <br /> o) Check for noise in upper and lower bearings. <br /> p) Check physically for damage of pump and power cable. <br /> q) Clean, reset, and check operation of level sensors. <br /> r) Check for correct shaft rotation. <br /> 2.
