EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />The following services will be performed by Infrastructure Engineering Corporation (IEC) and its sub - <br />consultants (Consultant) for the alternative design approved by the City for the California Tank and <br />Pump Station Project. These services will consist of project restart; updates to plans and specifications <br />to address changes in the project design, engineering standards and/or codes; and environmental <br />coordination, testing and monitoring. <br />TASK 1— PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br />This task shall consist of the following additional services: <br />1. Project coordination and communication with the City; project schedule updates; and tracking and <br />reporting job progress on a monthly basis. <br />2. Quality Assurance and Quality Control review of the design at appropriate project milestones. <br />3. Constructability review prior to the 100% submittal. <br />4. Attend meetings at the City's request. Design review meetings are included in separate tasks <br />below and as noted in the Fee Estimate. <br />TASK 2 —SURVEYING AND SUPPLEMENTAL UTILITY RESEARCH <br />The City has completed the topographic base mapping for the project. Additional surveying and <br />mapping will be required for the proposed site layout and will be performed by MacLeod and <br />Associates under separate contract to the City. Consultant services will consist of the following: <br />1. Format the base survey files received from the City's surveying consultant to conform to the <br />Project CAD conventions and replace the base file used in the project drawings. <br />2. Develop a digital terrain model of the ground surface using the base survey file. <br />Assumptions: <br />• AutoCAD files will be furnished by the City in digital format. <br />• Additional utility research will not be required. <br />TASK 3 — PRELIMINARY DESIGN (30% DESIGN SUBMITTAL) <br />Services under this task shall consist of the following activities to serve as the basis for final design: <br />1. Prepare a civil site plan and two cross-sections depicting the proposed and finish grades and <br />above ground structures. <br />2. Prepare a mechanical site plan depicting the layout of the pump station, yard piping and <br />appurtenances. <br />Deliverables: <br />• Electronic (PDF) files of the civil site plan, pump station mechanical plan, yard piping plan, and <br />cross-sections. <br />Assumptions: <br />• Preliminary design technical memoranda previously completed will not require revision. <br />• Piping profiles will not be included in this task. <br />Page 3 of 23 <br />REV: 08-16-17 PR <br />ATTY/AGR.Amendment No. 1/Infrastructure Engineering Corporation - CA Tank <br />
