TASK 4-65% DESIGN SUBMITTAL Prepare the improvement plans and specifications for the alternative design in accordance with the previously approved contract scope. This task includes design restart efforts and revisions to the plans, specifications, and estimates required by changes in the civil site layout, City or County standards, and regulatory codes and will include: 1. Construction drawings to include general and construction notes; plan and profile views; cross-sections; civil details including utility connection points. 2. Architectural renderings for public or Council meetings. 3. Engineers opinion of probable construction cost. 4. Estimated construction schedule. 5. Draft pump station and tank control strategy. 6. Local SCADA system design and programming coordination to include comments and clarifications on process descriptions, modifications to existing equipment, coordinate integration of new equipment. 7. Submit drawings and specifications to the California State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water (DDW) for review. 8. Submit Pacific Gas and Electric application for new service. 9. Prepare encroachment permit application for new driveway and trenching within public right- of-way and submit drawings to the County of San Mateo. 10. Attend one meeting to review the City's comments on the 65% submittal. Deliverables: • Design submittal: five (5) sets of plans • Control strategy technical memorandum and specification • Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost • Estimated construction schedule • California DDW submittal • PG&E new service application submittal • County of San Mateo submittal Assumptions: • Specifications (CSI format) outline previously submitted will not require revision. • California DDW submittal will not require permit review fees. If required, the actual permit fees are assumed to be paid by the City. • PG&E application submittal will not require an application fee. Fees for review and processing of the application by PG&E will be determined by PG&E upon development of a work orderfor the electrical service. PG&E fees are assumed to be paid directly by the City. • County of San Mateo submittal assumes new driveway ($535.00) and new drainage facility/modification/adjustment/upgrade ($535.00) for the driveway crossing over the existing road -side drainage. Assumes review of on-site drainage facility design per San Mateo County Water Pollution Prevention Program, Regulation c.3 will not be required. • Agency permit fees or design review fees will be billed at actual cost. Fees not listed, or increases in the estimated fees, are not included in the fee estimate and separate approval by the City will be requested.
