TASK 4-65% DESIGN SUBMITTAL <br />Prepare the improvement plans and specifications for the alternative design in accordance with the <br />previously approved contract scope. This task includes design restart efforts and revisions to the <br />plans, specifications, and estimates required by changes in the civil site layout, City or County <br />standards, and regulatory codes and will include: <br />1. Construction drawings to include general and construction notes; plan and profile views; <br />cross-sections; civil details including utility connection points. <br />2. Architectural renderings for public or Council meetings. <br />3. Engineers opinion of probable construction cost. <br />4. Estimated construction schedule. <br />5. Draft pump station and tank control strategy. <br />6. Local SCADA system design and programming coordination to include comments and <br />clarifications on process descriptions, modifications to existing equipment, coordinate <br />integration of new equipment. <br />7. Submit drawings and specifications to the California State Water Resources Control Board, <br />Division of Drinking Water (DDW) for review. <br />8. Submit Pacific Gas and Electric application for new service. <br />9. Prepare encroachment permit application for new driveway and trenching within public right- <br />of-way and submit drawings to the County of San Mateo. <br />10. Attend one meeting to review the City's comments on the 65% submittal. <br />Deliverables: <br />• Design submittal: five (5) sets of plans <br />• Control strategy technical memorandum and specification <br />• Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost <br />• Estimated construction schedule <br />• California DDW submittal <br />• PG&E new service application submittal <br />• County of San Mateo submittal <br />Assumptions: <br />• Specifications (CSI format) outline previously submitted will not require revision. <br />• California DDW submittal will not require permit review fees. If required, the actual permit <br />fees are assumed to be paid by the City. <br />• PG&E application submittal will not require an application fee. Fees for review and processing <br />of the application by PG&E will be determined by PG&E upon development of a work orderfor <br />the electrical service. PG&E fees are assumed to be paid directly by the City. <br />• County of San Mateo submittal assumes new driveway ($535.00) and new drainage <br />facility/modification/adjustment/upgrade ($535.00) for the driveway crossing over the <br />existing road -side drainage. Assumes review of on-site drainage facility design per San Mateo <br />County Water Pollution Prevention Program, Regulation c.3 will not be required. <br />• Agency permit fees or design review fees will be billed at actual cost.
