OPTIONAL TASK 7 — POTHOLING <br />Consultant shall submit a proposed potholing plan to the City for review and approval. Proposed <br />pothole locations will be recommended based on the utility mapping and proposed new facilities that <br />may be in conflict. Potholing will be performed using an air extraction method in to limit disturbance. <br />This optional task assumes that six (6) potholes will be performed. Some utility potholing has been <br />performed by the City and incorporated into the current drawings. Additional potholing of existing <br />utilities is anticipated to be performed by the construction contractor. <br />TASK 8 —CONCRETE TANK DESIGN <br />Concrete tank design is included in the current contract budget. This task includes revisions resulting <br />from regulatory code changes and/or engineering standards and the design and preparation of <br />drawings for a new earth retaining structure (assumed to be a soil -nail wall). <br />TASK 9—LANDSCAPE DESIGN SERVICES <br />Landscape design services include the preparation of graphic renderings for presentation to City staff <br />and at community meetings. This task also includes revisions resulting from changes to the site design <br />and services during construction to comply with mitigation measures 13I0-4 and BI0-5 as found in the <br />Project EIR. <br />Meetings <br />Allowance for up to three (3) meetings including a project re -start meeting. <br />Design Submittals <br />• Two (2) draft plus one (1) final submittal of the bid documents addressing the landscape <br />improvements based on an assumption of progressive (65% and 100%) submittals. Submittals <br />to include plans, specifications and estimates of costs for the landscape improvements and a <br />landscape documentation package. <br />• Incorporate additional trees on-site per EIR mitigation measure BIO -4. If the landscape plan <br />cannot accommodate all required trees without overcrowding the site, indicate the additional <br />trees to be given to the Redwood City Tree Bank Fund for planting elsewhere. <br />Construction Phase Services <br />• Up to 32 hours of services as requested by the City in support of the City's efforts to achieve <br />compliance with EIR mitigation measure BI0-5, review of contractor submittals, or <br />coordination during construction. <br />TASK 10 — OFF-SITE PIPELINE <br />Plan Review <br />Review the engineering plans prepared by the City for approximately 1,400 lineal feet of new pipeline <br />extending from Jefferson Avenue at Fallen Leaf Way to the California Tank site.
