Additional fees may be required for
reviews/inspections by BAAQMD personnel (estimated $128/hour). These fees are outside of
the scope of this scope of services.
9. Air monitoring, construction monitoring, mitigation monitoring during construction activities
that may be required by BAAQMD or Others. For budgetary purposes, the approximate cost
of air monitoring is $3,000 per day. The actual cost will be based on the contractor work
hours/schedule, number of fenceline air monitoring stations required, sample shipping and
turnaround (dependent on work hours), etc. Monitoring is typically required only during
mechanical disturbance to the soils so a condensed earthwork schedule is most beneficial.
BAAQMD also requires bi-weekly reporting and notification if any sample exceeds the stop
work level (typically set at 0.016 str/cc based on CARB-Modified Asbestos Hazard Emergency
Response Act (AHERA)).
REV: 08-16-17 PR
ATTY/AGR.Amendment No. 1/Infrastructure Engineering Corporation - CA Tank
