Section 2.2 Ten, subsection (c) of the UNIFO~ <br />F~NCHISE AGREEMENT is deleted, and the following is substituted <br />in its place: <br /> <br /> Section 2.2(c) Extension. The ten of this Agreement <br /> shall be extended automatically for an additional five <br /> successive operating years following the above- <br /> mentioned expiration date; provided, that such <br /> extension shall not be effective if, on or before <br /> September 30, 1997, Agency gives BFI written notice of <br /> Agency's determination not to extend the ten which <br /> would expire on September 30, 1999. All references to <br /> 'term' herein shall be deemed to include the extension <br /> of the amended ten. BFI shall give Agency written <br /> notice of the provisions of this section, not more than <br /> one (1) year and not less than six (6) months prior to <br /> September 30, 1997." <br /> <br /> 3.
