All persons employed by Company on the work of collecting and removing garbage hereunder must be of sober and industrious habits and of agreeable disposition. 14. Guarantee. Company will collect, remove and dispose of garbage hereunder in a manner satisfactory to City. As a guarantee of faithful and efficient performance of this agree- ment, and in compliance with the terms of the resolution authorizing execution hereof, Company shall establish and maintain on deposit with the City Clerk of City, a performance bond in the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00). 15. Option to Revoke License - Arbitration. In the event that the Council of the City of Redwood City determines that Company is not performing its duties, or giving service, in a competent and satisfactory manner, City shall notify Company of such fact in the manner provided in paragraph 24 hereof, and shall specify the matters in which the duties are not satis- factorily performed or the service is unsatisfactory and shall specify in such notice that Company must cure the matter complained of within the time specified in the notice, and that if the service shall not have become satisfactory to the City Council, or the defect shall not have been remedied within such time to its satisfaction, City shall submit the matter to arbitration to determine whether the contract is not being performed in any substantial respect. In the event that the service shall not have become sat- isfactory to the City Council, or the defect shall not have been remedied within the time so specified, City shall appoint an arbitrator and shall notify Company of such appointment in the manner specified in paragraph 24 hereof. Within ten (10) days after receipt of said notice, Company shall appoint a second arbitrator and, within said time, shall -5-
