consistent with the intent set forth in Section 3.4 entitled <br />"Recycling" of the Uniform Franchise Agreement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Agency and Company desire to place in operation a <br />recycling program within the Service Area of Agency in accordance <br />with this adaptation of the Uniform Recycling Agreement; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, Agency and Company agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. RELATIONSHIP TO UNIFORM COLLECTION AGREEMENT. The <br />parties intend this Agreement to operate and to be interpreted as <br />a separate Agreement from the Agreement for the Collection of <br />Solid Waste (herein sometimes referred to as Uniform Collection <br />Agreement), entered by Agency and Company effective October 1, <br />1987. To achieve brevity in this document, however, the parties <br />intend that the definitions set forth in the Uniform Collection <br />Agreement apply in this Agreement wherever the same are indicated <br />herein by capitalization of the initial letter or letters.
