2. DEFINITIONS. In addition to the definitions set forth <br />in Article 1 of the Uniform Collection Agreement, the following <br />definitions shall apply herein: <br /> <br /> "Recyclable Materials" means paper, metal and glass kept <br />separate and apart from residential, commercial, and <br />institutional Solid Waste by the generator thereOf for the <br />purposes of collection, disposition, and recycling. Recyclable <br />Materials shall also include such other materials as Authority <br />and Company may designate from time to time, when so approved by <br />resolution of Agency. <br /> <br /> "Recycling" means any process by which materials that would <br />otherwise be disposed of as solid waste are collected, separated, <br />or processed and returned to the economic mainstream in the form <br />of raw materials, or new, reused, or reconstituted products. <br /> <br /> "Recycling Center" means any facility designed and operated <br />for receiving, storing, processing, and transferring source <br />separated metal, glass, paper, or other recyclable materials. <br /> <br /> "Recycling Container" means a container of a size <br />appropriate for use for recycling purposes by the individual <br />resident, of rigid construction and capable of stacking when not <br />in use, and provided in sets of three to each residence. <br /> <br /> 3. GRANT AND ACCEPTANCE OF FRANCHISE; CONSIDERATION <br />Agency hereby grants to Company, and Company hereby accepts and <br />agrees to perform, the exclusive franchise to collect and process <br />Recyclable Materials generated on Residential, Commercial and <br />Industrial Properties located within the Service Area of Agency. <br /> <br /> <br />
