DES:djk 08/31/87R <br /> <br />Agency's right to terminate Company's operations hereunder or <br />provide other remedies for violation of other provisions of this <br />agreement, or upon any other rights or remedies which may accrue <br />to Agency by reason of such noncompliance. <br /> <br /> ARTICLE VI. <br /> <br /> COLLECTION RATES <br /> <br /> Section 6.1. Initial Rates. Initial Rates for Collection <br />of Solid Waste within the Service Area of Agency are set forth in <br />Exhibit "B" hereof, attached hereto, and by this reference <br />incorporated herein. From time to time during term hereof, <br />Exhibit B may be amended to correspond to changes in the <br />Collection rates resulting from the rate modification process <br />described in Section 6.2 or the rate reviews described in Section <br />6.3. Notwithstanding the foregoing, such rates or amendments <br />thereto shall not become effective unless and until duly enacted <br />by such ordinance or resolution of Agency's Governing Body as may <br />be required under Agency's legislation governing the issuance of <br />Solid Waste franchises and the establishment of Collection rates. <br /> <br /> Section 6.2. Rate Modification Process. {a) Objectives. <br />Authority was established to facilitate the financing of a <br />transfer station developed by Company, and to advise and assist <br /> <br />Authority ' s member agencies on the determination and <br />implementation of reasonable collection and disposal rates. The <br />objective of Agency, and Authority on behalf of Agency, with <br /> <br />respect to the setting of rates is to ensure rate payers a high <br />level of service at reasonable rates while allowing Company a <br /> <br /> 20 <br /> <br /> <br />
