Box 478 <br />4 Redwood City, CA 94064 <br />5 <br />6 b) "Agency, its officers, elective Council and appointive boards, <br />7 commissions, employees, and agents are additional insureds on this <br />8 policy." <br />9 c) "This policy shall be considered primary insurance as respects any <br />10 other valid and collectible insurance maintained by Agency, including <br />11 any self-insured retention or program of self-insurance, and any other <br />12 such insurance shall be considered excess insurance only." <br />13 d) "Inclusion of Agency as an insured shall not affect Agency's rights as <br />14 respects any claim, demand, suit or judgment brought or recovered <br />15 against Company. This policy shall protect Company and Agency in <br />16 the same manner as though a separate policy had been issued to each, <br />17 but this shall not operate to increase Company's liability as set forth in <br />18 the policy beyond the amount shown or to which Company would <br />19 have been liable if only one party had been named as an insured." <br />20 I. Delivery of Proof of Coverage. Simultaneously with the execution of this <br />21 Agreement, Company shall furnish Agency certificates of each policy of <br />22 insurance required hereunder, in form and substance satisfactory to Agency. <br />23 Such certificates shall show the type and amount of coverage, effective dates <br />24 and dates of expiration of policies and shall have all required endorsements. <br />25 If Agency requests, copies of each policy, together with all endorsements, <br />26 shall also be promptly delivered to Agency. <br />27 Renewal certificates will be furnished periodically to Agency to demonstrate <br />28 maintenance of the required coverage throughout the Ter.n. <br /> <br />29 J. Other Insurance Requirements. <br />30 1) In the event any services are delegated to a contractor or subcontractor, <br />31 Company shall require such contractor or subcontractor to provide <br />32 statutory workers' compensation insurance and employer's liability <br />33 insurance for all of the contractor or subcontractor's employees engaged <br />34 in the work in accordance with this Section 8.4. The liability insurance <br />35 required by this Section 8.4 shall cover all contractor or subcontractors or <br />36 the contractor or subcontractor must. furnish evidence of insurance <br />37 provided by it meeting all of the requirements of this Section 8.4. <br /> <br /> Page47 8/2/96 <br /> <br /> <br />
