Ordinance, and a#her applicable City laws and r�gula#ions, and all associated <br /> approved and certified environmen#al documents, have together served as an <br /> adequate and appropriate evidentiary basis for the findi�gs and actions set forth <br /> in this Resolution. <br /> Sectior� 2. Historic Landmark Alterat�on AP2011-37: The Planning <br /> Commission fincfs that: <br /> a. Based on the recommendation of the Historic Resaurce <br /> Advisory Committee, the project and impro�ements <br /> proposed by Architectural Permit Application No. AP2011-37 <br /> are consistent with, confarm to the intent of, and will <br /> ap�rapriately implement the Historic Preservation Ordinance <br /> for the 743 Elm Street Residential Project; and <br /> b. The establishment, maintenance and operation of the project <br /> and impro�ements propased by Architecturaf Permit No. <br /> AP2011-37 will not, under the circumstanc�s of this <br /> particular case, be detrimental to the health, safety peace, <br /> morals, or genera� welfare of persons residing or working in <br /> the neigh�orhood of the project, or be detrimental or <br /> injurious to property or impro�ements in the neighbarhood of <br /> the project, or to the gerteral welfare of the City, because the <br /> project has been found to b� consist�nt with the comm�nity <br /> goals established in the City's General Plan, Historic <br /> Preservation Ordinance and Zaning Ordinance. <br /> Section 3. Archit�ctural Permit AP2011-37: The Planning <br /> Commission finds, pursuant fio Section 45.8 of the Redwood City Zoning <br /> Ordinance, that: <br /> a. The proposed additian to the struct�re exhi�its an existence of <br /> sufficient variety in the design of fhe structure and graunds to <br /> avoid manotony in the external appearance; <br /> b. The proposed size and design af the praposed additian to the <br /> structure is considered in proportion with the building site with a <br /> balance and unity among its external features so as to present a <br /> harmonious appearance; <br /> c.
