Staffing <br /> <br />Terence Bottomley will be principal-in-charge for the project, responsible for facilitating the <br />visioning workshops and coordinating workshop content with City staff. Recent visioning-related <br />projects include three "Strong Neighborhoods Initiative" neighborhood plans for the City of San <br />Jose, the Charleston/Arastradero Corridor Study for Palo Alto, and the Bayfront Area Visioning Study for <br />Redwood City. Mr. Bottomley has a broad urban planning and design background, and is a member <br />of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), Urban Land Institute, American Institute of <br />Architects, and American Society of Landscape Architects. <br /> <br />Mr. Bottomley will be assisted by Associates Gina Chavez and Julie Conrad. Ms. Chavez will assist <br />with workshop facilitation and logistics. Ms. Conrad will assist with computer mapping and <br />graphics. <br /> <br /> Tentative Schedule <br /> <br />The 6-month schedule outlined below assumes that one workshop per month over the next five <br />months. The schedule could be accelerated if the City prefers, depending upon the content and <br />preparation anticipated for each workshop. <br /> <br />January, 2003 April <br />- Initial Staff Meeting - Workshop #4 <br />- Workshop #i <br /> May <br />February, 2004 - Workshop #5 <br />- Workshop #2 - Commission/Council Review Session <br />- Staff Review Meeting <br /> June <br />March - Summary Report/Memorandum <br />- Workshop #3 <br /> <br /> Cost Estimate & Terms <br /> <br />Cost for completion of all Work Tasks described above is estimated at $27,435, including project <br />administration, insurance, and reimbursable project costs. This is a time and materials project with a <br />guaranteed maximum fee for completion of all Work Tasks. The attached spreadsheet is intended for <br />informational purposes and may be used for negotia~ng Work Tasks and budget.
