City meetings during 95% design phase. 10. Preparation of submittal package. 11. Administration including weekly project log. Deliverables: Completed construction documents including plans and specifications in a format that is ready for final City review prior to bidding. We will also include an engineer's cost estimate for the project. Task 4 - Construction Document Preparation - 100% Design Phase 1. Incorporate 95% City review's comments. 2. Quality control check and final review coordination. 3. Assemble bid package. 4. Final engineering construction cost estimate. 5. Final submittal of bid documents to City and issue to bid. Deliverables: After incorporating any final comments, the final bid documents will be submitted to the City for bidding. Task 5 - Bidding Period Services (Not in Engineering Design Fee) 1. Assist City to compile a list of tank manufacturers and general contractors. 2. Clarify bidder question and assist City to issue addendum. 3. Prepare bid summary and verify the capability of the low bid Contractor. Deliverables: BKF will provide a list of potential bidders for the project and will contact them to make them aware of the project. Provide clarification as needed during bidding and prepare a bid summary once bids are received. Task 6 - Construction Services (Not in Engineering Design Fee) 1. Shop drawings review. 2. Construction staking. 3. Site visit during construction. 4. Answer Contractor's question. 5. Prepare record drawings based on markups provided by the contractor.
