EXHIBIT A <br /> Project Description <br /> This document is the Project Description contemplated by the Memorandum of Understanding, <br /> dated November 7, 2012 between Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto ("CLSEPA") <br /> and RWC 2020 (the "Collaborator"). <br /> (1) Basic Project Data: <br /> Project Purpose: The purpose of the CLSEPA/RWC 2020 Anti-Payday <br /> Lending Policy Advocacy Project is twofold: (1) Implement <br /> a public education campaign to redirect present and potential <br /> users of payday lending to non-predatory loan products and <br /> social services as well as to arouse community engagement <br /> for the city ordinances. (2) Provide guidance in our attempt <br /> to establish a coalition of community leaders, residents and <br /> elected officials committed to reducing the negative impacts <br /> related to payday lending practices. <br /> This MOU does not replace any existing MOU.
