At such time as the Chief of Police determines that the Fuller cul de sac is <br />needed for overflow news media vehicular parking, temporary signs shall be <br />erected or posted indicating that the operation of vehicular traffic thereupon <br />shall be prohibited and that no vehicles shall park or stand within said street <br />and the maximum period of parking permitted and the rate of parking fees in <br />said area shall be suspended unless otherwise provided hereby. <br />4. Effective March 1, 2004, and in accordance with the Redwood City Police <br />Department Parking Management Plan, the City Manager is authorized to <br />allow the parking of news media vehicles in the Middlefield parking area, <br />subject to the issuance of revocable vehicle parking licenses and payment of <br />a maximum monthly fee in the amount of One Thousand Seven Hundred and <br />Sixty -five Dollars ($1,765.00). Said fee may be reduced from time to time by <br />the City Manager, based upon objective evidence that the City's costs related <br />to parking within the area defined herein have been reduced. <br />5.
